UPDATED: 1st Lapy in two days!!

As
I'm having my first diagnostic laparoscopy in 2 days and I'm freaking out a little bit! I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 19 and had an appendectomy. My ER surgeon was great and looked at my uterus and ovaries to make sure they were okay and found a small spot of endo. I'm now about to turn 24 and have never had treatment other than an IUD. I've had cycling pain around my left ovary for the last two years which has become constant over the last 6 months. The last month or so has been excruciatingly painful to the point that it's difficult to move at times. I would LOVE some reassurance because my anxiety is trying to tell me that I have an enormous tumor and I'm dying. I'm not dying right?
UPDATE: I'm now 2 days post-op and I'm doing pretty good! I'm very stiff and sore, and the pain gets better every day. My doctor gave me photos from my surgery and there was a significant amount of endo on the left uterosacral ligament which is what was causing so much of the pain in that area. There was also a cyst on the right ovary that had to be drained. No cancer, obviously. At my post-op appointment in a few weeks my doctor wants to discuss placing me on hormones in addition to my IUD.
