Blood after membrane sweep? Normal?

Question

Doc said it's normal to have spotting but I have been bleeding and it's like period not spotting. Should I go to hospital? She said I'm 2cm dilated but I don't have contractions yet.

Update: Called doc and she told me of it continues like this for couple more hours then I should go to hospital.

I would call triage and see what they say. I had my membrane swept yesterday but there was very little blood.

My doc said it would be more like blood-tinged mucus (which it was).  I'd call about the bright-red you have, it seems a little excessive.

I had my sweep Monday and have only had bloody mucous. I would call your doctor. That just seems like a lot of blood.
