With him in the Army yes. It sucks because I'm home alone a lot. But when he comes home it's a big relief, and I feel so much closer to him every time.

But in the end it's worth it, especially if you love them. 
Thursday will make 8 months between me and my boyfriend. He lives three hours away. In these few months we've seen each other about four times, but we stay we each other several days when we see each other. 
I truly wouldn't change it for anything. Not being able to see each other for sometimes months at a time, makes getting to see each other the best thing ever!

Soo me and my boyfriend (loml) started dating 2 years and 2 months ago. He was a foreign exchange student at my school and we spent 6 months together here and made some really amazing memories. That's nothing compared to where we are now though. It'll be two years since I have seen him this June but he is coming to visit for the entire summer so I'm very excited!! All our friends said we wouldn't make it past three months but honestly the distance has made our relationship stronger. It showed us that our relationship doesn't rely on the physical stuff at all and it definitely brought us a lot closer emotionally. I miss him so much every day but he's honestly my rock... and I know that the moment I see him again it will all have been worth it. All in all I think long distance made my relationship stronger 😀 people give long distance a bad rap but as long as you're in a trusting, loving relationship and you're completely committed to only eachother it can work

Sooooo when I was 14 I started dating this guy, he was 16. After two years of dating when I turned 16 I ended up moving out of the country, we were doing good or atleast i thought we were, a month after my 17 birthday (6 months into our long distance) I found our he had been cheating on me with a freshman. I was heartbroken and I didn't believe in long distances anymore. Fast forward a year, I am 18 now and past a few "speed relationships" me and my best friend whom is still in the states have a thing, we're not dating but we're pretty monogomeous. He wants to make it official since we'll even see each other at his graduation, but I'll still be leaving here. I want to give long distances a try again but idk the first guy really did fuck me up.

I'm a future navy wife and let me tell you... we've been long distance even before he joined the Navy. It's hard, don't ever expect it to be easy. And just remember Skype is a thing that is very helpful. Not having service will mean bad calls but I'll still get to see them virtually. (Better than just a phone call when you need it) good luck
