I am 35, had my tubes tied at 23 (had my first two children when I was young....daughter was a bc baby and son was an "oops I forgot to go back for my IUD"). Now at 35, I'm engaged and getting married in October, and we want a baby. I had an IUD in also for the last two years for heavy bleeding and two nurses I work with got pregnant less than 10 years after having their tubes tied. Had the IUD taken out Thursday of this week, and am spotting this morning.
