With the increase in obesity and the fact that most people are becoming more accepting of out of shape people, planet fitness has a perfect business model. This man is genius. You provide an inviting atmosphere for overweight people( which is the vast majority of americans), feed them pizza to keep them big, and provide low prices everyone can afford.

You appeal to vast majority of the population. In addition since these people aren't your usual advent gym goers, they usually fall off their fitness routines....stop showing up but you still pocket the 10 dollars a month because they rarely cancel since its so low.

Then for the ppl who come regularly, you feed them,pizza to keep them fat and coming back for,more.

The owner of planet fitness is really fit. He knows exactly what he is doing. Smart man!!! He is making millions off this. Its brilliant!!! WTF didn't I think of this years ago. Lol
