What are your thoughts on the one hour (or longer) skin-to-skin with your LO right after birth? Meaning they are placed directly on your bare chest and as long as there are no medical problems remain there for a full hour or longer before being whisked away to be cleaned and weighed and everything else. Have any other moms thought about this? I was curious about it, and thinking about it A LOT as she will be my last little one. I've been reading up on it (if anyone knows any good sites for this please let me know below) and it seems like a very good idea for bonding as well as reducing breastfeeding problems among many other factors. I guess I am just curious if anyone HAS done this and what you've found to be the benefits as well as what you've found to be problematic (for lack of a better term).
