Early glucose test?

Question

I'm considered "obese" even though I don't look or feel it :/ 
Anyways, since I am overweight they are doing an early glucose test, anyone else been through this?

I did mine at 12 weeks.. and passed.. and the next will be 24-28 weeks.. I'm considered obese to.. so they just do it as a precautuon..it's really no big deal.. and I loved that sugary drinkm. It was yummy lol... everyone I know.. hated it

Nope I'm sorry I didn't know that at all. I was 355 when I got pregnant and was tested only at 28 weeks. I passed the 1 hour test though

Yes they did an early one for me too I passed. Just did my second Friday waiting for results.

I had an early glucose test at 12 weeks, and then had to do my late one at 28 weeks. I passed both. The drink is disgusting haha, but it's just a precaution because gestational diabetes is more commonly found in women considered "overweight" although the only 2 people I have ever known to have it, we're at a healthy weight prepregnancy

I did it at my first appointment.

I passed the first one they did and the 2nd at 28 weeks and failed :p so took the 3 hour and failed again. It really doesn't matter if you have a bit of chub or not I know a few people that are thin and  healthy but still have gestational diabetes
