Starting ivf treatment soon should I be taking or doing anything before hand to help and increase chances? Any suggestions of ways to relax ? Can't help but feel anxious

Before my IVF cycle I was told to eat a high horse protein and low carb diet. Protein should be over 40% of your consumed food and carbs less then 30% with the remaining being healthy fat. No sugar and no breads, pastas, etc. I was also told to take coq-10, extra follicles acid and prenatals. I switched to thermanatal per my docs recommendation. I also started acupuncture a month prior to beginning my IVF cycle. It's helped immensely! I've been so relaxed and felt great through my cycle. Good luck!!!

What kind of treatment? We just finished second round of IUI, this time with injectibles (Gonal-F and a trigger shot). Only advice I have is let yourself cry and get those negative emotions out before you start, because it's so important to stay positive during the journey. It'll happen!

Ivf was such a difficult process and the only way I was able to get through it was with so much support. I had my husband who was amazing, but I relied heavily on my family and close friends to pick me up when I lost hope. If you're not interested in sharing with people you know, maybe create a private instagram account where you can post about your journey and get support from those who have been through it. I hope everything works out for you. We did 3 IUIs and 5 cycles of IVF within a year so it was intense. But now we're finally pregnant and due in July. Know that things will get better. Babydust ♡

Hi m I've just started my stim injections.  Finding myself extra emotional so be prepared to cry at stuff you wouldn't normally.  As the others said folic acid 400mg and a good pre conception multivitamin.  I'm taking pregnacare myself too . And I started Co enzymes Queen 10 . Just try and eat a lot of fruit veg n protein . And chat to someone you can trust . Let someone in work know also .

It sounds like your boss is trying to show empathy having been through the process herself . It would be very unprofessional of her to discuss something you disclosed in private. So try not to worry about that. It says there is 400mg of folic acid pregnacare which is what is required at this stage later in pregnancy you need more. Good luck n try not to freak out about egg retrieval I'm just thinking it can't be worse than period pains for me

Try not to stress stay positive and think about the love of every thing. Just try to not over think it. I know that seems hard but I tried with treatments for a year and a half and when I finally just let go of everything it happened.

I did 2 rounds of failed IUIs an then a positive fresh embryo transfer, all my specilists said to take folic acid tablets or pregnancy tablets. Goodluck!!
