Baby Swing? Bouncer? What do I need?!

Question

Do you ladies use baby swings? Bouncers? Trying to figure out what gear we really need/want to start out. I've heard some women say that the Swing was a lifesaver and some that barely used theirs- so figured a poll might help give some insight. Thanks for the info ladies!

Swings that swing by themselves ARE a life saver.  My daughter is 18 weeks and still only way to put her down for naps (without crying for 45 minutes) is in the swing.
We have a bounceroo and two mamaroos and she hates the damn things.  .

Get both. You can buy second hand then just re-sell the one baby doesn't like. My baby liked the bouncer better then the swing. I've know other babies to like the swing over the bouncer though.

Swings are a life safer!! Bouncers are too. I use the bouncer when I really need to do something and I'll be bouncing my daughter at the same time so she won't cry, you take the bouncer anywhere you go around the house.  My daughter is 2 months old. I know many these one won't be important but at this point I'm buying a baby carrier as well. Sometimes my daughter doesn't wnT to be in her bouncer or swing and just wants me to hold her. I heard a lot of women use their carrier to put baby in it and do stuff around the house as well. So consider that one too.

Rock n play - life saver. You can get a version that plugs in and rocks. 
I can totally do without a swing and a bouncer.

A jumperoo - amazing (4 months and up)

Play mat with arch and dangle toys - amazing.

Both, but I used my cheap bouncy chair most. When I showered, I put baby in it so I could see her & she was entertained. & I brought it everywhere I went! Swing was great for 2-3 mo

Rock and play and a play mat were our go to items. The bouncer she can take it leave and the swing she hates.

There is one target sells that is a swing and bouncer. I got it for my baby shower and love it. It's a normal swing but you can remove the part where baby sits in and it becomes a bouncer. It was I believe around 110 bucks.

My kiddo slept in the swing for a month and it saved us from having to co sleep in the bed all night every night, but bouncer is necessary because  it's where I always put my guy whenever I need to do anything.. plus it's easy to move wherever I'm at whereas swings can be harder to transport...

Definitely both, but if youre only able to get one I'd say bouncer.

Swing is a must have we didnt have one with our son because we couldnt afford it i wish we made room in the budget because swinging him in his carseat was not fun my mom bought us a swing for our daughter and she loves it and so do i its both battery and plug in

I have a swing and a bouncer. I crochet and sew and whatnot with my hands so having a bouncer will help when I want to get some of those things done!
