Does the name Maven sound similar to Megan?

My husband and I are tossing around the name Maven. I like it but I'm wondering if people will think we're saying Megan. I have a bad association with the name megan so I think if people keep saying "megan?" after introducing our daughter, I will get annoyed. Lol.
