I just lost my first pregnancy (growth stopped at 6w4d, but didn't take misoprostal until 10 weeks, and then had an emergency d&c at 11 weeks). I'm one week out from d&c and I know no sex for another week. After that, what should I plan to do about birth control? the doctor recommended waiting one cycle before trying again. Knowing that you can only get pregnant when you ovulate, but not knowing when you ovulate is odd to me, as I was tracking closely for 6 months before getting pregnant in December. My husband and I haven't used condoms in years (used an IUD and the pill before ttc) so it seems so foreign. Curious if other people worried about this while waiting for their first period after miscarriage or if I'm overthinking.
