I’m getting so frustrated with my <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> “navigator”. She uses words I don’t even know, and just keeps saying “everything depends on when my period starts”, etc. This is the first time I’ve ever done this and I think she expects me to understand the process and terminology and it’s beyond frustrating. For some reason after the retrieval she said they’re waiting for 2 months for the transfer. I’m not sure why, it seems like every online source says they do it the same cycle. So all I was asking her for was a default kind of calendar that would tell me what day of the cycle the transfer could be, e.g., we transfer on days 17-19 or something. But she just keeps saying it depends on when you start your period. No shit Sheila. My works needs to know a roundabout day bc there’s a week in May that no PTO is allowed bc of a whole software switchover and I just need to know if it’s that week. She also won’t fill out the intermittent FMLA until the day I start my period, yet expect me in the next day during working hours for an ultrasound. Ma’am I work at a hospital. If I don’t have FMLA I can’t just leave. Does anyone know any of these answers or have a default calendar when skipping 2 months between retrieval and transfer?? She also said since I’m a “straight start” transfer that we’ll have to wait and see when I asked her an estimated date range for the transfer. What does straight start mean?? It’s not on google so it might be a word they just use at that office??
