I wish I knew about the Diva cup (and menstrual cups in general) when I first started having a period!! I bought mine in as a freshman in college (which as a poor college student is a major investment), but I immediately had NO REGRETS. ๐ I've been in a happy relationship with my same Diva cup for seven (7!) years now. And I *still* have the same box of pads I bought the summer before my freshman year of college (which I kept as a backup...unnecessary!) ๐ There is a bit of a learning curve with this product, but stuck with it! Within two cycles, I had my method down. And I am one of the clumsiest people alive and have yet to make a mess removing my Diva cup (it helps to learn in the shower if you're nervous, FYI). Just try it! You'll never go back to diaper sized pads or drying, chemical-laden tampons. Your vagina and your planet will thank you! ๐
I used The Keeper years and years ago before all these other cups were so widely available. Now I LOVE my Diva Cup. The soft silicone makes it more flexible and comfortable. The only drawback is that it is supposed to be replaced each year. The Keeper is natural rubber and you can use it for many years. I think The Keeper must still be ordered online, whereas the Diva can be found at most natural foods stores or in the natural sections of other stores. I love the little bag the Diva comes in and I really love Diva Wash (sold separately) which is gentle and pH balanced for body and itโs great for wasting the cup too. I think if you are new to cups, you should practice inserting and removing it before your period so you are comfortable with it when you need it.
Never going back to tampons again. Definitely a learning curve, but once you get it, you get it!

I use a Brand called moon cup that I bought in the U.K. I was actually introduced to this a couple of years ago by a friend who spent time in assignment with the army; where having a period on exercise in the desert was not practical. As someone who has travelled and worked remotely this was always my concern; getting my period and leaking was a huge angst for me. It took me a couple of cycles to get used to it- it is very hands on- you need to be comfortable with that. I love it. It's practical and comfy and cheap and better for the environment. I put it in early morning and generally into remove until that night.the biggest issue with it for me is that using it in a public toilet where the sink is not in the same cubicle is difficult as you need to rinse the cup out after emptying in; but a minor detail! Otherwise I would highly recommend this and wish I had discovered this earlier.

Been using for many years. Love it. Replaced it once when I started to get leaks which the package recommends doing anyway.

I've heard this product can also help conceive as well! Just bought one and loving it!
Just grabbed one of these the other day from Walmart because I wasn't expecting my period for another week so I was caught outta town without my other menstrual cup. I've been wanting to try this Diva Cup also, but didn't want to buy one in case it didn't work. My other one works as it has a loop that you can reach in and grab and pull down, which is just about the only thing I don't like about this one- I don't like that you have to bear down and grab it without it slipping from your fingers. I haven't had any babies yet and I'm 37 and according to the boxes of you were over thirty or had kids to go with the Size 2 which I did, but I'm thinking I should have went with the Size 1 due to my size and not having babies yet because I can feel the stem of the Size 2. However this Diva cup lets NOTHING through- I even had to question myself if I shouldn't have waited another day or so and maybe I just spotted but wasn't starting because there wasn't not one drop of anything on my undies, but once I pulled it out sure enough, I had started so this cup is great for not letting anything through. When I got back home, I switched out to my other one with the loop to make it easier to dump and clean since I wouldn't be home to be able to squat down to push out. I will disinfect it and I will be using it in a few months to inseminate myself with with use of donor.

I love this product. My sisters are hesitant to try it. I've been a faithful Diva cup user for over a year and I can tell you it has truly changed my life, especially my life during my cycle. I must say there are tons of scary YouTube videos out there to keep one from using this product. However, I ignored them and formed my own opinion. I did find one video useful which gave instructions on using the item in a public restroom. Super easy once you've mastered the art of it!!!

literally amazing throw this baby in you and you truly can go 12 hours or more, quick empty in shower (kinda graphic but easy) and back in I almost forget I gave my period, sleeping with no bottoms and everything, and throw her in 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 1 part water to have her looking new! life changer and no environmental waste or extra money every month!!

I will never go back to traditional monthly products again! However, I do feel like there's a better 'fit' for me.

Changed the way I view my period. Clean, safer than pads/tampons, easier to use, and you can keep in it for 12 hours. Never had an leaks! Seriously worth a try! I will never go back to pads or tampons ever!!

First cycle with my diva cup!!! I couldn't be happier. No leakage at all, and once I cut the little stem off it was extremely comfortable. The biggest piece of advice would be to make sure you rotate it after putting it in, making sure it expands the way it's supposed to and suctions securely so there are no leaks. I wish I tried this years ago!

I love my and I wish they had told us about it and health class back in elementary school when we first started having your period. they take a little bit of getting used to but it's only a matter of time and if you want to avoid the mess just use a rubber glove when you empty and rinse it out no muss no fuss

I love how much money I am saving on tampons and pads. I also feel so much cleaner because it keeps *most of it* in my body. only problem is sometimes I get a little that comes out so I still need to have a light pad on to catch any run off. if you want to go completely away from pads, buy the thinx underwear. I haven't yet because they are kind of a big investment up front if you are wanting more the 3 pairs

I've been using these things for over 10 years. Makes life so much easier. I forget I'm on my period, which never happened with pads or tampons. So glad I splurged on this in college.
I just love it. Makes you save so much money and you don't even feel it. โค

This product is great, I'd recommend it to everyone! If you're having problems with the fit make sure you have the right model! There are two types, 1 and 2. 1 is for young women or women who haven't give birth vaginally. 2 is for mature women or women who have given birth vaginally. Another reason my be due to how you're positioning the cup. Make sure to double even triple read the small pamphlet the cup comes with. The basic steps are: โMake sure your hands and the cup are clean. โFold the cup in like they show in the pamphlet (two ways to fold it). โinsert horizontally not vertically (it's not like a tampon). โtwist by the base (above the stem of the cup) to help the cup unfold and open. โInsert a finger to feel around the edge of the top of the cup to make sure it's unfolded all around. The Diva Cup website has a video that helps better visualize how it'll look on the inside to give you a better idea. I hoped this helps someone~
My life changed after I discovered Diva Cup!!! I can only wear pads due to TSS and those get embarrassing and disgusting and I've just had enough. It does take a while for you to get used to it but 12 hours a day, I don't have to worry about changing out pads. I forget I'm on my period most of the time during my period!
I have used this for over 10 years, and absolutely love it! Please note that you must follow the directions in order to keep leaking to a minimum. I have a pretty heavy flow (will have to use BOTH tampons and pads) so occasionally, I will have to empty it a couple of times on heavy days. This makes my period a breeze compared to tampons and pads. PLUS, it's totally better for you and the environment.

Took some getting used. I've gotten really familiar with my lady parts. Now I'm a pro and I love my cup ๐

It says on the box that you can wear it for 12 hours.. but I find myself leaking, and having to dump it at least twice a day... is that normal?
Simply amazing, there are many different shapes and sizes of menstrual cups so if this one isn't right for you then you can try another!

I really really wanted the diva cup to work for me. I tried very hard and I loved how I could leave it in an empty it, I am so tired of tampons and pads. But I had really awful cramps whenever I kept it in :( I'm really sad about it...
The diva cup has changed my life!! I was so scared to use this before but after a few months of using it I got the hang of it and I know tampons have a lot of bad chemicals and synthetic fibers so using something like this is not only good for me but the environment.
I love this product. it takes some getting used to like every thing else, but it is worth it.
been usingvthisbandblive it. the first few times a little different but you will gert used tobit yes it is a little bit on the expensive side but if yiu muply the cocst x12 you are getting a deal ans sving money
I was using tampons and I would constantly leak and have severe cramps that would put me out of commission for days. I decided to try the diva cup. oh man, I'm so glad I did. I barely have cramps anymore and I don't leak. plus all the ๐ฐ I'm saving. So glad I switched.
So far I love my cup, even though I have problems inserting it. I still get some leaks but it's great for overnight, better than my fabric pads. Not buying boxes of tampons is also great!
This thing is incredible. It's s bit awkward at first and takes some getting used to, but it's so worth it. I've been using it for over a year now, and I haven't purchased any tampons since switching. Stick with it- it's so worth it. So awesome not having so much waste or feeling afraid that you're going to leak.
It is my first cup. Need practice to position it properly otherwise it might leak. I'm still trying to master this skill...
love my diva cup! save so much money using it long term and after a couple cycles it become so easy to use.
I have been using Diva Cup for over 5 years. I love it and it's so much better for than using tampons which would sometimes cause me pain. Give it a try- good for our environment and your body! Bonus- think of all the money you'll save not buying tampons monthly.
